We can set up a broad range of secure and specialized client testing programs to help photovoltaic manufacturers, installers, and users, then use these results to improve the quality and optimize performance and reliability of their photovoltaic systems.
Photovoltaic Full System Testing
TÜV Rheinland PTL engineers develop test procedures and equipment for full photovoltaic system testing including PV or CPV cell, power conversion electronics, system controllers and all related components. Photovoltaic Array Testing - TÜV Rheinland PTL engineers can develop test procedures and equipment for large flat-plate, thin film or concentrated photovoltaic systems. Our staff has tested many of the large and small photovoltaic systems in the United States and many in foreign countries.
Photovoltaic manufacturers, installers, and users, then use results to improve the quality and optimize performance and reliability of their photovoltaic systems. System Acceptance Tests - TÜV Rheinland PTL staff can provide acceptance tests and evaluate installation practices, performance of the system, compliance to code, and system control function for many photovoltaic power systems. Regular periodic testing can be done to follow any system degradation trends and maintenance requirements.
Secured and Proprietary Testing – TÜV Rheinland PTL experts work with the collaborate with the photovoltaic industry through design of specialty testing programs e testing with test results kept proprietary for the funding company. All components of photovoltaic systems can be testing including modules, inverters / power converters, generators, storage systems, and control units. These tests can be exposed to true field conditions at our secure outdoor facility. Tests may range from simple monitoring under exposure to accelerated life-cycle testing to project system durability.
